Description
This flagship tobacco is named for the Rapparee, who were Irish guerilla fighters in the Williamite war.
It is a dark, full bodied, spicy mixture of Virginias, Orientals, and Black Cavendish with generous amounts of Latakia. Red Virginias impart the blend with an iconic red tinge.
Charles Rattray said of the blend that it “burns in the pipe with the spontaneity of a fine cigar”. Red Rapparee provides a great introduction into the world of Scottish mixtures.
